The claim: Stack Overflow states that a new ChatGPT plugin built with Codex enabled two engineers to ship Stack Overflow for Agents quickly, driving up to a tenfold increase in agent creation and tripling signups.

The reality: Two developers spent a few weeks wiring an API endpoint to an LLM interface, converting stagnant forum threads into automated noise that generates zero additional ad revenue.
