The claim: OpenAI announces GPT-6 Cyber, a specialized cybersecurity model designed to find exploitable vulnerabilities and write fixes while staying strictly within authorized scope.

The reality: GPT-5 does not yet exist in any meaningful capacity, yet the marketing department has already invented GPT-6 Cyber to sell enterprise security subscriptions to CISOs.

Why should I care? You shouldn't
Marketing departments inventing version numbers to sell security software is not a technical breakthrough.
