Nvidia Scaled Indic Pretraining While Ignoring Local Reality

The claim: Nvidia announced the release of a massive 2.8 trillion token pretraining pipeline for Indic languages, complete with open data generation tools aimed at closing the regional language resource gap.
The reality: Having a dataset that size is useless when a local hospital in Bangalore still has to pay enterprise cloud rates just to run inference on a 70B parameter model.
Why should I care? Could be big
Massive token counts mean nothing until local enterprises can actually afford to deploy the resulting weights.
