Google Flashes Data Center TPUs in Orbit for PR

The claim: Google Research announced it has achieved its first successful AI response from a data center class TPU in orbit via the Project Suncatcher satellite prototype.

The reality: Running a tensor processing unit on a small satellite does not lower the cost of AWS bills or fix on-premise Kubernetes pipelines for an enterprise DevOps engineer.

Why should I care? Could be big
Orbital AI chips are clever physics experiments until someone finds a way to bill enterprise clients for space latency.
