Claude memory feature finally saves your nagging

Anthropic has rolled out a unified Claude persistent memory system that syncs across both standard chat interfaces and its Cowork environment, allowing the AI to retain context about your preferences, projects, and workflows without requiring constant repetition.

• Context built up over months of chatting now automatically informs cloud tasks in Cowork, eliminating the tedious ritual of rebriefing your AI assistant.
• Users can view, edit, or delete stored memory files topic by topic, fixing errors once so they propagate correctly across all future conversations.
• While sensitive topics like health and beliefs are excluded by default, users can opt-in to let Claude remember personal details, though hard safety limits still apply.
